Apreo I vs Apreo II
What differentiates Apreo I from Apreo II?
While Apreo I (FEI Apreo LoVac Analytical) and Apreo II (FEI Apreo LoVac High Resolution) are very similar and have many of the same capabilities, there are six mutually exclusive features:
Apreo I has a gaseous analytical detector for segmented BSE imaging in low vacuum mode, a platinum deposition system for marking areas of interest on samples, a fast beam blanker, and a retractable cathodoluminescence detector for imaging visible light emitted from samples.
Apreo II has a retractable STEM detector for imaging TEM samples, and a liquid nitrogen cryo-cleaner for improved vacuum levels.
