Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)

CEMAS houses two aberration corrected scanning transmission electron microscopes (STEM) - one optimized for high spatial resolution imaging and analysis with the capability to provide sub-angstrom resolution, while the second is designed for investigation of soft materials and biomaterials with the ultimate in chemical analysis capabilities and high resolution imaging performance. CEMAS also has an uncorrected analytical STEM with EDX and EELS capabilities.
