About

Yufeng is a member of CAMM. His research interest mainly contains physical metallurgy of titanium alloys and electron microscopy. His research focuses on using electron microscopy to study transformation mechanisms of various phase transformations in titanium alloys, including non-classical homogeneous alpha precipitation in metastable beta titanium alloy, omega phase related transformations in metastable beta titanium alloy and martensite decomposition in alpha/beta titanium alloy. With the excellent characterization facility in CEMAS, Yufeng hopes to obtain a detailed understanding of the structural and compositional change during various phase transformations in titanium alloys and therefore better manipulate the microstructure to enhance property of titanium alloys.
