Jake is a member of CAMM. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Ceramics and Materials Engineering from Clemson University in 2012. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering and is focusing primarily on core classes at the moment but has just started a project involving high entropy alloys. During his undergraduate studies, Jake participated in REU programs at Drexel and Cornell University and worked on a project to determine the effect of cooling rate on the phase transformation behavior in a new alpha + beta titanium alloy.
