Ari is co-advised by Dr. David McComb and Dr. Tyler Grassman. He received a Bachelors in Science in Engineering Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College in 2018. His undergraduate research was focused on growth and applications of monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides. Ari is currently an NSF Graduate Research Fellow pursuing a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. His current research focuses on understanding structure, chemistry, and electronic properties of defects and interfaces in semiconductors, particularly those used in photovoltaic applications.
