Fischione 2000 Dimple Grinder

Dimpling thins the center of the TEM disk, reducing ion milling times while giving a higher quality specimen with a broader, near electron transparent area.  The model 2000 can thin samples down to < 10 microns by using a microprocessor controlled grinding head assembly to set the maximum grinding rate.
