Emergency COVID-19 Voucher Available from CCTS

Ohio State’s Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) facilitates and supports the translation of scientific discoveries into innovations that improve health. CCTS is now offering an Emergency COVID-19 Voucher to enable preliminary work and generate data for new COVID-19 projects and/or to secure fee-based core services for expert consultation services (such as biostatistics) with the ultimate goal of understanding and combating this new pandemic.

In general, award vouchers from CCTS are intended to be used on projects that are ready for services immediately (“just in time” data). The CCTS will award Ohio State and Nationwide Children’s Hospital investigators vouchers worth up to $5,000 in core services per investigator and per project.

Due to the unique nature of this program, investigators who have already received a voucher for this grant year or current CCTS KL2, TL1, or Pilot awardees are eligible for an emergency COVID-19 voucher.

Ohio State’s Center for Electron Microscopy and Analysis (CEMAS) is listed as one of the core services and programs currently available for funding.

Voucher requests will be reviewed and processed on a rolling basis. View this PDF for detailed eligibility requirements and a current list of core services and programs associated.
