Researcher on scanning electron microscope

It is our goal at CEMAS to continually offer world-class characterization tools to enable unprecedented insights into structural and elemental properties.  We've heard your feedback and are thrilled to announce that CEMAS is acquiring not only one, but TWO new Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs) this Summer! The new systems will replace the Sirion and XL-30 ESEM currently located at CEMAS.

In order to efficiently install the two new SEM systems, CEMAS will need to decommission the Sirion and XL-30 ESEM first. While we do not have definitive dates at this time, please expect for the decommissioning to begin in the first week of June 2017. The good news (aside from getting TWO new microscopes!) is the Quanta 200 will still be fully operational and available for use. Please plan accordingly.

We appreciate your patience as we update the SEM line at CEMAS, and hope you are as excited as we are. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at cemas@osu.edu.
