6. Receive instrument training:
To request instrument training, please do so through your FOM account. CEMAS staff can advise and help a user in all aspects of specimen preparation, instrument use, and data interpretation. Since most users will not be familiar with the operation of the instruments, CEMAS staff will train users on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. The objective of the training is for the user to be able to independently operate the CEMAS equipment required for their research.

7. Access Your Data:
CEMAS offers a short-term storage option for saving your data obtained at our facility. After being trained on an instrument, the Instrument Manager will request an account on your behalf so you may access your data from outside CEMAS. For more information about data storage, please click here.

8. Obtain Facility Access:
The main entrance doors to CEMAS are open Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (except for University observed holidays). The equipment and staff offices are not accessible without proper facility access. All visitors must sign in with the front desk to request facility access.
